Animal encounters are offered on a limited basis after Labor Day, and before Memorial Day. Animal Encounters are dependent on the weather and may change without notice. Please check the encounter times board located by the Zoo Map for daily schedules.

Experience animals closer than ever before at the Wild Safari Theater! The Wild Safari Theater give guests a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet their favorite animals up close and talk with real zookeepers.  With many animals rotating through the schedule make sure to stop by during your next visit to the Zoo.  Encounter schedules are subject to change, please see encounter times boards located by the Zoo Map for daily schedules.

Eat that Fish • Sponsored by Bryan Health

Hang out with everyone's favorite flightless bird! Eat That Fish is an interactive encounter during penguins feedings. Guests are assigned a penguin to watch and keep track of how many fish that penguins eats during the feeding. If you get the number correct there might even be a prize in store.
