“Lincoln Children’s Zoo has been celebrating community for 50 years,” said President and CEO, John Chapo. “We were founded entirely by the citizens of Lincoln in 1965 and have since grown to serve millions upon millions through the generosity of our community. That is why it is so important for us to say thank you to our community during our 50 year celebration by sharing this amazing event with them.”
Lincoln Community Foundation is assisting in funding this event. "We wanted to give a gift to the people of the community in celebration of the Lincoln Community Foundation's 60th anniversary," Barbara Bartle of the Lincoln Community Foundation said.
Zoobilee is made possible through a partnership with the Git-R-Done Foundation.
